County Tour
The goal of these rides is to
find
an interesting way to ride to and through the selected county.
Of
course, we'll probably still have to stop somewhere along the way to
eat on the
longer rides but that won't be the primary purpose of the ride.
We have a map of all 67
counties in Florida and will
try to schedule at least one ride that will go through a different
county so we can fill it in on the map. A county will only be
completed
when it is ridden through on roads other than Interstate highways (we
may use Interstates to get to an area but counties passed along the way
will not be marked completed). Also, counties will be
completed only on
Chapter rides that are on the monthly calendar or where the phone tree
has been activated (e.g. Wanderer runs). This
way, all members will have the
opportunity to participate.
